I had Patio Pools install our original pool in 1997, it was a plaster pool that lasted until 2018, when it had become thin in spots and there were some rust spots showing. Grant Maclean did the estimate and was great at working with me on a budget and saving costs for the total re-plastering we did. Kathy Gilmore did the office work and crew scheduling, she was a joy to work with, as was Grant. Both were superb at answering every email quickly and informatively. The “demo” crew that removed the old surface arrived on time and worked in 107 degree heat until they were done, were polite and answered questions I had at the time. Steve and Ruben installed the tile and made it look great, they kept at the job and were very courteous. Jack and Quebin came later and repaired all rusted through spots-I’m glad they found all the weak spots, as this could have been a problem down the road! They also were in the 109 degree heat and they worked about 10 hours without stopping. They used a process to cut out rusted rebar and epoxy the ends to prevent further deterioration. Jacob did the walk-through and final cleaning and prep work, he was also great, showing me several things about the pool I did not know. Although when I got the original pool there were several cheaper pool companies, Patio had a great reputation so we decided to use them. I believe any pool that lasts 21 years without ANY problems illustrates the quality work Patio Pools does. I could have used one of these “cheap” companies to repair the pool now, but there’s no way I would have used them, since I know I can trust Patio Pools to do the work right, to be honest with me and to help the customer in every way possible. “Jared Paige came out to do a repair on Monday. He was very conscientious, polite and efficient. He found a way to repair the broken back flush valve housing that did not require major parts or work. He then applied paint to all sun exposed PVC piping to limit sun damage. He has great customer satisfaction focus and made sure I was pleased with the repair. We are very happy because our son and family (including two grandchildren) had arrived on Saturday for a weeks visit from frigid Chicago. “I have just finished filling out the opinion survey that was left for us after the completion of our pool renovation. I feel, however, that I must go a little further in commenting about the performance of your crews, especially since they went further than was necessary for us.

“We recently had a problem with our spa, and called for service. Jack Micus was the service technician who responded to our call, and he took such good care of us that we felt it was necessary to let you know what a wonderful employee you have in Jack.

We were having problems with the circuit breaker on the filter tripping so that the filter would no longer run. Jack came out and was able to isolate the cause of the problem to a faulty ozonator. He disconnected the ozonator and got the filter working that day so that we could avoid emptying and refilling our spa. He ordered us a new ozonator and installed it when the part came in. He spent some extra time with my wife and me explaining what he had done and showing us how to better care for our spa and chemicals. The water has been crystal clear ever since then.
